Duran Duran Story
I cant believe we are going to this concert!!!!! Samantha said to her friends Roby,
Roni, Max, and Allison.
Me either! I have been waiting my whole life for this nite!! I cant believe we are going
to get backstage!! Roby said
Well I wouldnt go that far Rob! Allison said looking at Sam as if Sam knew what she
was talking about,and she did
Yea, Rob, we may have told yall that we are going to get to go backstage, but we
actually have a plan to get backstage. We dont know if it is going to work! Sam said
And what is this plan?! Max said with a confused look
There is a reason why we got you guys to where some pretty showing clothes! We
are going to talk to the security guards!Sam said
And what do you mean by talk to them Sam?!Roni asked
We are going to show our stuff!!!!Alli said laughing
YEA!!!! Sam said laughing with her
Oh, great you two!! I have to flirt with an over weight, ugly, probably horny, male!
Roby said throughing her hands in the air

So off the girls went, but didnt have any luck what so ever!! Each and every member of
the band was surrounded by girls that were pushing, hitting, and jabbing the girls. So off
the girls went, feeling depressed, and exhausted

That was so kewl, yet so depressing!!!Sam said pulling the car into her driveway

course!!!And, will you help if I need you?!Sam said smiling innocently yet kind of

"Of course!Ya know I'll help ya if you need me!But I will need your help if we make an actual song out of either of them!!"Allison said laughing about Sam's face,and how they belped each other on those kind of things,cause she was good at writing the music
"Okay!"Sam said laughing with her
"I am going to go to bed!I am too tired to attempt to write a song tonight."Roby said yawning and then smiling
"Night!And I am with you on that one, Rob!Night everyone!"Roni said
"Goodnight you two!I am going to watch movie in the living room."Max said
So the girls went to bed, watched tv,and wrote songs. They wrote "Alone"(Alli wrote this one)and Samantha wrote "These Dreams". And yes, if you are wondering, the girls were in a band together. In their band they.....Samantha played the guitar,Allison was the lead vocalist,Robin played the bass,Veronica played the drums,and Maxine played the keyboards. They were very good, and all sang together.

A couple months later, the girls were at their different jobs(Allison worked at a hotel, Samanthat worked at the same hotel, Robin worked at a recording studio as the secretary, Vreonica worked at a music store, and Maxine worked at Whataburger)(They did each of these jobs so they could get different things at half price!lol)
I'll be right back,"Samantha said to Allison"I have to go to clean something off the floor in room......a suit?Suit number 1?!"
"Wow?A suit huh? The people staying there must be rich!Considering the suits here cost like $150 bucks a night!"Alli said
"Yea, that's why I paused!I wonder who is staying tehere?Wonder if there are cute guys??!The guy who called was British and male!"Sam said moving her eyebrows around and laughing
"Hey!They might be!If they are cute, and are more than one, and not gay, save one for me!"Alli said giggling
"Alright!"Sam said laughing at her
*Knock Knock*"Room service!I am here to clean!Which really sucks!"Sam said knocking on the door
"Oh, Hi!Come on in!It is over there.Sorry, but I lied, it is................
"Not a water stain!!"Samantha said interrupting while looking at the blood on the floor, then at JOHN TAYLOR!
"Yea, sorry about that!"John said with a blood stain under his nose
"It is alright!What happened?I am guessing this came from you?"Sam said getting on her hands and knees and sighing
"Oh, good, and yea, you are right. I had a nose bleed, no big deal!"John said smiling
"I have cleaned up day old piss before!And no big deal huh?!That was some kind of nose bleed!!"Sam said with a confused look
"Yea, I guess. So, what is your name?You have the neatest accent!"John said smiling
"My name?Samantha........Samantha Johnson.And it isn't an accent!Its Texan,I'm a hick you could say!"Sam said laughing
"Hi!I'm John.It sounds neat, I could listen to it all day!"John said extending a hand
"Hi!And thanx, I could listen to you talk all day!And I don't think you want to shake my hand!"Sam said giggling
"Oh, I don't care!Hell, it is my own blood!"
"Hey John! Come here!"A guy called from the other room
"God he is so cute!I can't believe that I was just talking to John Taylor!"Samantha thought to herself,but then she heard music?Music came from some speakers in the room she was cleaning in, but there were speakers in everyroom in the suit......They were being controlled from the room that John was in!And before she could realize it, she was singing Love Bites, by Def Leppard!And so she thought she had already been heard, and thought it was no use in stopping now! So she cleaned and sang. And before she knew it, DURAN DURAN was staring at her from the doorway!!!
"Oh, sorry, I'll stop now!I just like that song!"Sam said apologising
"No that is fine!,"John said"You are good!"
"Really, my friend is better than I am!"she said smiling
"Really?"Simon asked
"Yea, ya know, there is a really god band who plays at the Whiskey-a-gogo!"
"Really?Wait, you said that you were from Texas!I just now realised that!"John said
"Yea, I know, I am from Texas!I moved here with my friends a month ago!"
"Oh, okay!Is this band any good?"
"Yea, they are really good!You should go see them, they play tonight at 9:00!But ther is something I should tell you,they are........"
"They are what?"Nick asked
"I better not tell you, you might make fun of them or something."she said frowning
"We promise we won't!Just tell us!"Andy said
"They are really good, but the band is nothing but girls!From the lead vocalist to the keyboardist!"
"Really?"Roger said
""HUH?Girls really?!"Simon said smiling
"Don't even start, please!You said you wouldn't make fun or anything!"Sam said defensively
"Simon!Don't they might be good!We should at least listen to them before you start to make fun of them!"Roger said
"Yea!Thank you, Roger!They are good!They are really good!Listen to them before you judge them!!Why, I am in that band, damn it!"Sam said getting upset, and standing up
"Oh really?What do you do?Play the triangle?"John said laughing, and then Simon and Nick joined in on the laughing
"Yea, really!You might promise not to laugh or make fun if I tell you!But we know what happened the last time you said that!"Samanthat said getting teary eyed
"No, tell us!"Nick said
"Fine!I play the guitar!You happy?!"Sam said crying a bit, but triing not to let them notice
"I bet you're god!"Andy said
"I bet the whole band is good!"Roger said
"Thank you. You come watch us play, and tell us what you think!Oh.....happy sniffing, and nose bleeding, John!!!"she said running out and slamming the door
"Lets go watch 'em!That way we can actually be mean!"Simon said laughing
"Hey!You never know!They might be really talented!!"Roger said, then Andy agreeingly shook is head
"What happened?What is wrong?"Alli asked Sam when she got downstairs
"I'll tell you on the way!But come on!It is 8:40!We are onstage in 20 minutes!And we have some Duran Duran boys to prove wrong!"Sam said grabbing Alli by the wrist and pulling her out the door
"Oh my god!I can't believe they said that!They are gunna get the best show they have ever and will see,well, from me anyways!You should tell the other girls!"Allison said once they got to the club
"From me too!I am fixing to tell them right now!I was thinking we could do a couple fast songs first, and then some slow ones!I know my fingers are ready for the abuse!"Sam said smiling.Then she walked over to the other three and told them the whole story.They argreed that they shouldn't have said what they did.And that they too, were up for the abuse, just to show them what they were made of.
"Are ya ready?I am!"Allison said smiling,she was wearing a tight, low-cut,spagetti-strapped,middrift top,tight leather pants, and hooker boots. They were all wearing hooker boots actually!lol:);):P
"I am!Just let me put on my boots, right quick!"Samanthat said smiling,she was wearing a tube top,that was read and glittery,a black leather skirt that was about mid thigh in length, and had a slit on both sides,then the once 5'10"&1/2 Samantha put on her boots and stood about 6'0"!lol
"Me too!"Roni said, she was wearing a tube top also, it was black, silver leather pants, and of course, hooker boots!(wow considering she is the drummer!But, on with the story!)
"Me three!"Roby yelled running and zipping up her left boot at the same time,she had on a blue spagetti-strapped, meddrift top,black vinyl pants.
"I am also!Sorry, I thought I'd change up the too and three thing!"Max said laughing, she had on bright red vinyl pants,a black see-thru shirt w/ a black spagetti-strapped top on underneath it.
So.............All-in-all, it all went very well, the girls played very good,John, Nick, and Simon stood in the crowd with their mouths wide open, And and Roger did to for a few minutes, but then they started laughing and making fun of the other three.
"You al were really good!"Roger said
"Yea, you put on a great show"Andy said agreeingly
"Thanx!I am Robin.Nice to meet ya'll!"Roby said shaking hands with all the guys |
